Ford Bartholow
Ford and Cindy Bartholow have been coming to Palmetto Bluff since 2006 and bought their lot in 2011. They became permanent residents in 2017. Cindy is a physician and practiced medicine in the Chicago-area for almost 30 years. Ford started his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Chicago, and moved into private equity investing in the early 1990s.
Arian Ellis
Arian and Don Ellis purchased property in 2018 after visiting from Nashville for several years. They became part of our Palmetto Bluff community in 2020. Don is retired from investment banking where he spent 25 years primarily in San Francisco as a Partner and Managing Director in the biotech sector. Originally from Tennessee, Arian is a Senior Director at Nevro, a medical device company also located in the Bay Area. Arian and Don have three children, one four-legged hairy child, and two grand pups.
Bob Morette
Jeanne and Bob Morette became PB property owners in 2015 and relocated here full time in 2019. Bob spent 17 years with The Boston Consulting Group, then helped run a leading investment firm from 2000-2005. He rejoined consulting with Bain & Company in 2005 as a senior partner. He remains a part time Advisory Partner with Bain, is a director of GuideOne Insurance and is a Trustee of Fort Ticonderoga. Formerly, he was a director of SAC Re and has served on advisory boards at The Northern Trust and FRM. Jeanne and Bob have four children and two grand dogs who love visiting Palmetto Bluff.
Frank Riddick
Frank and Carol Riddick purchased property in Palmetto Bluff in 2012 and became full-time residents in 2017. Carol is a retired veterinarian, while Frank had a long business career as a CEO for private equity-owned businesses. He recently stepped down as President and CFO of the WWE. The couple has three grown sons and two dogs.”
Allen Roth
Allen Roth and Kim Mazzei-Roth moved into River Road permanently in 2022 after vacationing in the HH area for over 12 years. They relocated from the New Jersey/Philadelphia area and are both now fully retired. Allen was a professional structural engineer for over 40 years and owned the firm Joseph B. Callaghan, Inc. for seven years until he sold it in 2021. His expertise focused on forensic engineering and strategic advising. He enjoys tennis, fitness classes, bowling, swimming, and the bourbon/cigar club. He has three children and seven grandchildren who thoroughly enjoy vacationing in Palmetto Bluff.
Helen Ryan
Helen moved to Palmetto Bluff in December of 2021 after living and working on HHI for twenty years. Born in Connecticut, lived in Newport, R.I., St. Louis, Mo., Hutchinson, Ks., Montgomery Co., Md., and have a summer home in Cashiers, North Carolina. She worked as a Registered Nurse, taught Nursing, and later earned a doctorate in Education and retired as a High School Principal. Upon her husband’s death in 2011, she purchased a lot on the gorgeous May River and enjoy kayaking, fishing, travel, and my mini golden doodle Rosie. The Conservancy focus and 32 miles of coastline make living in PB magic.
